Happy New Year! Onto Bigger Things
I wish everyone a healthy and happy 2012! Hope that all your goal and plans come to fruition. I sure hope that mine do. So far the 2011 went out with a bang, lot's and lot's of changes happening. I've taken a pretty big risk recently and given up working in the fitness industry. Well for the most part, I am still doing some side projects I have passion for but it's no longer what I do. It's funny it's never really been what I am all about, I don't care at all about the fitness industry it's a really unsavory part of my life, I've been in it for so long because I enjoy working with and helping people. I knew this day had to come and I'd have to get a "real job" and be a productive member of society but I don't know if I was ready for it. So now I am working with in the education system with students who have special needs, it's hard work but very satisfying. It's not permanent but it's a start and so far all the signs are very positive. Hopefully 2012 brings even more positive vibes!

it's a calling, really. But I'm glad that you found it, and that you are enjoying the time you get to spend with your students. Make sure you keep your training up, too - I made that mistake and been trying to recover from it's effect for a while... But congrats!
Congrats on doing what you love....it's a great thing! My son has autism and I've always wanted to teach autistic kids kettlebells.
Happy New Year Boris!
That's great, Boris! Working with students is very rewarding. I am glad you are enjoying your new role - every day is different. You are a role model to your students.
Sounds like a good move and to do good things. I hope you love it!
Thanks everyone, it's been great so far.
