I think I will run away to the circus! Too bad I lack any sort of useful talent for the circus but that's irrelevant... The Cirque Du Soleil show Quidam was in town this week and my girlfriend and I went to see it. After seeing Totem back in October I've been hooked and I think I am a bit of a junky. When I heard they had another show coming to town I got tickets and pretty good ones too, almost right in front of the stage.
A view from the seats, front row, side stage.
The show was fantastic, although I like Totem a bit more due to the music and more upbeat content, Quidam was well worth the price of admission. The first half of the show felt a bit slower personally as much of it was about acting and the story line but the second half really picked things up. Some incredible suspension work from the ropes and balancing acts were witnessed. Have attempted some of the simpler forms of the feats that were performed, and having failed at those attempts very badly it was very impressive to watch them performed to their full potential. Needless to say now I am dreaming about running away to the circus.

Agreed, a bit slow to start but enjoyable to watch.
