This weekend I had the opportunity to attend a Mobility-Conditioning workshop by the legendary Steve Maxwell, the event was hosted by StrengthBox. Coach Maxwell has close to 5 decades of sport and exercise experience which I could not wait to hear about. The majority of the day was focused on the improvement of mobility in the body and regaining the body's natural mechanics. None of it seems all that physically tiring until you actually attempt it and attempt it when your body doesn't want to, it's no secret to me that I have little mobility my body as of recently has been really beaten up and sore.
Coach Maxwell put us trough out paces on the floor.
The second portion of the course focused on the strength/conditioning component that can be applied to mobility training. This was a very refreshing and incredibly difficult portion of the day as you really realize just how immobile and wear you really are. Strength and mobility are intertwined but I easily forget that, it was good to be brought back to reality abet the hard way. I've got a lot of new goodies for my training and hopefully soon I'll dedicate a couple of weeks to training strictly in the manner Coach Maxwell demonstrated this past weekend.

What a great opportunity! I'm sure you left there with lots of helpful stuff to incorporate into your training!
Steve Maxwell is awesome, always a great source of information.
It was awesome, now I just gotta start doing it on my own.
