Age in Not a Factor.
This past weekend was the Toronto Waterfront Marathon, I myself have not run it and I personally am not a big fan of the the Waterfront course but that's not the point. I've read from a few people that the baggage check was a nightmare and the weather didn't help, kinda glad that I didn't run. But there are two things of note about this weekends marathon that had me impressed and motivated. Ed Whitlock and Fauja Singh. Both of these men are senior citizens Ed is 80 year young and Fauja is 100 year young. This past weekend Ed ran a 3:15 marathon which is just amazing, I can't event get that close myself. Hopefully when I get to their ages I will be able to do half of what Ed and Fauja are doing.

Hi Boris; Fauja Singh is truly amazing. Took him almost 8.5 hours to complete the marathon -- very tough to be out there for that long. Love the billboard!
Way cool for sure!! That's impressive and just goes to show...never think of age as nothing more than just a number!!
100 years old and running a marathon...sweet, there's hope for me yet!!
Wow to be that fast at that age is very impressive.
Louis - I am a fan, he's got great spirit.
Diana - We all are capable of more then we think we can.
Joe - Ed is faster then most 20 and 30 year olds I know.
